Oculus has worked closely with award-winning home-counties estate agent Aston Mead since a successful pitch in 2013, completely rebranding the company to help create standout in this fiercely competitive sector.
A significant tool in the Aston Mead marketing portfolio is its quarterly your residence magazine. The existing format was already doing a good job of positioning Aston Mead in the marketplace and showcasing its property portfolio. Our task was to take this publication to the next level.
In addition to new design, we researched and wrote articles, including news, lifestyle features and venue reviews, and copy edited the property details. We organised the printing and distribution of 5,000 copies to Aston Mead offices, where they’re available for visitors and for staff to distribute during valuations.
Previous online editions hadn’t displayed well on mobiles, so we delivered a mobile-optimised online flipbook. To create awareness of the online version, we generated a promotional email and distributed it to contacts on Aston Mead’s database of prospects, clients and suppliers.
The magazine’s new look and feel has been a big success – with about 1,000 reads of the online version in the first few days. We’re looking forward to working on the next issue and continuing to give Aston Mead a competitive edge.
