The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is a UK charity established to share the best in gardening. One major source of revenue is hospitality and venue hire.
Oculus had already designed and built a high-impact website for Royal Horticultural Halls (RHH). RHS then asked us to create a website showcasing the event spaces at RHS Garden Wisley, with one major constraint: a tight budget.
We had built the RHH website on the easy-to-use content management system Kentico, so designed the Wisley venues website with a similar framework, using imagery supplied and photos taken when we visited the 200-acre site.
The website, www.wisleyvenuehire.co.uk, features a gallery, venue information, suppliers, catering information and a contact/enquiry page. An extra feature is a very user-friendly 3D interactive map to show a bird’s-eye view of the gardens and venues. A simple click on the venues takes users to a page with images and key information about hiring the space.
We were able to deliver this striking website quickly and within budget, once again delighting the client.
