We asked Oculus to deliver a microsite featuring stylish graphics to showcase our on-demand cloud computing platform.
The microsite was to be a compelling sales tool, featuring stylish graphics and always-there calls to action. The microsite needed to work on multiple platforms, look good on them all and deliver bottom-line success by generating new business – motivating motivate businesses of all kinds, across all the major industries, to harness the cloud via SunGard to realise their business ambitions. Data capture across the site had to be fully integrable with SunGard’s Eloqua marketing automation system.
The cloud is an exciting concept, offering huge opportunities for innovative design in promotional work. Our designers chose to use parallax scrolling, a computer gaming technique that’s perfect for creating a rich and engaging user experience. We built the microsite on Kentico CMS 7, so it’s simple to update content, change layouts and add new functionality. Users have the opportunity on every page to sign up for the service via SunGard’s e-commerce purchase platform, or request a free trial.
